Precocious and bright musician, exceptionally gifted musically, Mohamed Hiber is today a very talented violinist.—Le Figaro, Paris

Born in Pantin near Paris in 1995, Mohamed Hiber is a distinctive soloist, but also an enthusiastic chamber music player and sought-after concertmaster. He has a close and long-standing collaboration withtwo of the world's greatest artists, Daniel Barenboim and Anne-Sophie Mutter. As concertmaster of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim and of the Virtuosi Ensemble conducted by the violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, he has been a fellow to the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation.

He is also invited as guest Concertmaster on a regular basis by the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonia Orchestra and the Orchestre de Paris.

He regularly collaborates with renowned conductors ranging from Zubin Mehta, Daniel Harding, Klaus Mäkelä and Neeme Järvi.

Mohamed Hiber has performed as a soloist with the Mulhouse symphony orchestra, the Philharmonie Südwestfalen, the MDR Sinfonieorchester, the Danubian Orchestra, the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra,  , Philharmonie Baden-Baden and the Gstaad Festival Orchestra.

He regularly collaborates with famous conductors ranging from Nabil Shehata and Marie Jacquot, Frank Braley and Robert Farkas to András Schiff and Neeme Järvi.

As a recitalist and keen chamber musician, Mohamed Hiber frequently collaborates with Daniel Barenboim, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Elena Bashkirova, Yuri Bashmet, Gautier Capuçon, Martha Argerich, Frank Braley, Khatia
Buniatishvili, Gérard Caussé, Garthe Lubbe,  Kian Soltani, Daishin Kashimoto, Maxim Ryzanov, Michaela Martin, Frans Helmerson, François Leleux, Nabil Shehata, Boris Brovtsyn, Claudio Bohorquez,  Itamar Golan, Jenz Peter Mainz, Frédéric Guy, Alexandre Tharaud, Amihai Grosz, Edgar Moreau, Pascal Moragues.

With these musicians, Mohamed Hiber performs regularly in the world's most important chamber music series, such as the Lucerne and Gstaad Festival, the Beethovenfest in Bonn, the Intonations Festival in Berlin, the Salzburg festival, the Jerusalem International Chamber music Festival and the Maïklange festival in Verden-Germany, the Rolandseck Festival, Louisiana museum of Modern Art chamber music series in Denmark, and the Easter festival in Aix-en-Provence.

Mohamed Hiber studied the violin with Ana Chumachenco in Madrid at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía and at the University for Music and Theatre Munich. 

Mohamed Hiber plays one of the most outstanding violins by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, Torino 1780, known as the "ex Maria Lidka", a generous loan by a member of the Stretton Society.
