Stretton Contemporary is an initiative born from the Stretton Society, an international network of philanthropists and cultural leaders dedicated to supporting outstanding classical musicians.
Stretton Contemporary honours centuries-old craftsmanship while driving 21st-century violin making forward—creating outstanding instruments, referred to as Bench Inspirations, empowered by rare and fine instruments by Antonio Stradivari, Domenico Montagnana, Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù, and other great makers.
By bridging tradition and innovation, Stretton Contemporary aims to democratize access to these rare and fine instruments, enabling talented artists to experience and perform on instruments crafted in the spirit and inspiration of these great makers.
